Dynamic entrepreneur and Director of the In-land Group Meraj Yusuf learnt the ropes of the construction industry after his engineering degree from MIT and management degree from Brisbane, Australia. While doing so he also noticed the huge untapped potential in the interior design industry. Seeing the opportunity to match his creative skills with the innovative requirements of the interior market, he established Inland Indoors in 2012 under the guidance of his father Siraj Ahamed, founder of the In-land group.

Starting with small, one-off projects which were mostly through references, Meraj Yusuf guided the company skillfully to larger and more innovative projects involving avant garde design, modern materials and professional project management. Gathering a team of talented designers around him and working to get the company ISO certified and IID approved, he meticulously chartered a course for the growth of the company.

Today, Inland Indoors has evolved as a one-stop-shop for unmatched interior solutions ranging from budget packages to high-end turnkey projects. Although a majority of the executed projects are residential, the company has a major reputation for adding finesse to corporate offices, high-profile showrooms, restaurants, cafes, hotels, spas, gymnasiums and other commercial spaces. Meraj Yusuf has steadfastly stuck to a business philosophy of delivering quality on time, which has earned him a loyal following of customers.

A steady growth in business has seen Inland Indoors taking up projects outside Mangalore including in Udupi, Puttur, Kasargod and also Bangalore. Recognizing the potential of Bangalore, the company has established a branch in that city in 2019.
